My review of REALLIONAIRE by DR. Farrah Gray

Reallionaire  A  9-Step guide to success  written by Dr. Farrah Gray .

This book isn’t your normal “GUIDE” to success. It’s more of a journey of life experiences of a young man filled with ambition and motivation for a better life.  Where did they get a name like REALLIONAIRE?  Hmm, read the book for complete understanding. However, I will give my brief summary of a wonderful journey.

Dr. Farrah Gray wasn’t born with a silver spoon in his mouth. It is important for me to make that clear from the start. Farrah, was raised in the “HOOD” of Chicago, by a single parent along with his three older siblings.  Sounds ,real ? Because this is the story of many.   Farrah’s family always thought there was something unique about the youngest child and thus he was named the “GOLDEN CHILD”.

Reallionaire is a feel good story, from beginning to end and it leaves no stone unturned.  The fact that Farrah began asking business questions at 5 years old. He began using his “HOOD” skills early.  How?  his first briefcase was his RED lunchbox.  Don’t tell me what the hood can’t teach you.  His mother worked as a consultant (1 job of many), he was able to watch her, and businessmen she represented. Throughout his journey he is a witness to eviction, making meals out of nothing, food stamps, the value of asking a question, and listening to the answer.  Dressing for success because perception is everything. Also, being confident from the inside out and remaining humble.

Reallionaire, is well written sharing quotes from his mother, siblings, businessman and mentors. The book shows success is achievable no matter where you come from.  I appreciate the fact it covers how to handle rejection as well. Let’s face it, Jordan didn’t make every shot and Uncle Rush didn’t succeed at every venture.  Farrah, makes sure to tell you not to be afraid of REJECTION, because there will be stumbling blocks along the way. What would happen if you never failed?  My motto is there isn’t a TESTIMONY without a TEST; many stumbling blocks are placed there by GOD.  Reallionaire offers worksheets for self-reflection throughout the book.  There are  pictures towards the final chapter of the book and my favorite is Farrah and the RED briefcase (lunchbox) the picture speaks volumes.

The main thing that impressed me is the message of HUMBLENESS and FAMILY throughout the book. We’re talking about a young man who had an office on WALL STREET, owned TWO businesses and became a MILLIONAIRE before he could get his drivers license.  Reallionaire , will leave you with the question.  Am I making good use of my talent (s)?  I recommend this book to EVERYONE.

Family, love, firm foundation, humility, ambition, motivation, and confidence all found in the book – REALLIONAIRE and those are my thoughts.
